2009

WW was good last night. I am going to loose weight. NO MATTER WHAT. I will give an update after next weeks meeting.

2008 so many different things happened. We bought a house to flip. I am proud that we accomplished that, now if we can sell it in 2009. Blaze left his job that he has had for a number of years and started a new one in the middle of the worst financial flop. He is doing great.

2008 also brought on debt. I hope that in 2009 we can put a good portion of that behind us. 2008 was the second year that I was selling real estate. I am proud of myself. I did good for only doing it on the side. I have nothing really to complain about in 2008 really. We are happy and healthy. Thats all that matters.
Now for 2009, I am looking forward to the changes in our lives. I hope we can make those changes. I am hoping that we get a buyer for our flip and can get that off the books. I have cut down on spending which i am sure a large number of americans have. I want to get rid of debt that we have. Oh did i mention that before..... I really want to get rid of the debt...I am looking forward to Heidi's new baby in 15 weeks, maybe earlier. I read a book called skinny bitch. This book really made me look at my life. People that are eating a larger amount of meat, pork, ect really need to evaluate what happens once you have to digest that. I love meat, but i am eating less of it and more lean meats and fish. If you haven't read the book read it. It really opens your eyes to alot of different things. You only get one body and one chance i really need to shape it up. Even though i am looking to get rid of debt i will be shopping more in the organic section in 2009.

Thats it for me i am sure i am like every other american trying to get out of debt, eat healthy, and excerise more. The most important thing is to stay happy....bring on 2009

Weight a Minute

Did the scale say what....WOW I have gained a lot of weight, in fact I have gained back all of the 28 pounds that I lost the first time around on Weight Watchers 4 years ago. GREAT... How the hell did this happen. Thats what i have been thinking for the past few days in my head. At least my husband will tell me well yes you have gained weight. You need to slim down.There are a few reasons why I am not really going to get into it. Nothing medical, just shit in my head.

So my butt will be at weight watchers meeting tommorow. I am sure its going to be packed, but I will be at the meeting. My first goal is to be faithful TOTALLY faithful for a month. First time around my first month I lost 12 pounds. I could use that again. I got a new ipod for xmas i will be using that for walking on the treadmill I have downloaded 22 min of songs. I am going to download a few more to make it to 30 min so I will have to walk until I hear all the songs. Little things work with me.

I have been very unhappy with my figure for about a year or so. I need to be in the 150's to be ok with myself. Its just how I work. Some people are 400 lbs and ok with it. They are ok but would like to loose that extra 5 lbs, me I feel ok around 150. Well, now my goal is 5 lbs. Thats how I am going to work this. 5 lbs at a time. Everytime I loose 5 lbs I am going to do something for myself. When I loose the first 5 I will tell you all what the prize is.Thats all I can say, once I get into the 160 and 170's I start to freak, I usually have a handle on it, but not this time. I feel like, I don't know what I feel like to explain it but shit.....

Speaking of the ipod. Any suggestions of good upbeat songs for me to put on it to keep me walking?????

Its Cold Outside

We are getting 15+ inches of snow today. I am happy, its just what I needed a long weekend. I am stuck here today and I am baking for tommorow's party. Here is a picture from last year of my dog tonka in a snow storm... He loves to eat the snow, now if the wind starts thats a whole other story, he hates the wind..

Looks like its going to be a white xmas

It looks like its going to be a white xmas. We are supposed to get 10-12 inches tonight and another smaller storm on Monday, and another one on wed. Blaze is mad because he needs to fix his snowmobile in order to ride it. I am sure that at somepoint he will bring it over and get it fixed. In order to ride on the trails we really need about 15-18 inches on the trails for a good ride. We are due for a snow packed winter we really haven't had one since 2000-2001. The year we got the sled we were out three times a week riding all the time. ( the trails go to some of the resturants we like) we would ride for dinner....

I have a big week ahead of me. I have a party for 26 on sat. We are having our families over for a xmas party. Everyone has been great about asking what they could bring which is great. Less for me to do. I am thankful.

So I have been riding in my rental all this week. I don't think i will be getting a minivan anytime soon. Not really impressed with the toyota minivan. I like my wagon much better...I would prob. get a crossover before i would think about the minivan, oh and i swore i wouldn't be like my mom and get a minivan. HA

We are helping family members move tonight. Busy, busy, busy and we need to get to the grocery store before the end of the night because i am not good in driving in 12+ inches of snow. Every winter i tell blaze i want a tahoe and then every summer i tell him i love my jeep, when the top is down.....

I want to start off by saying that yesterday I had a crazy day. I went to get an oil change on my work car and asked if they can look into the noise coming from the front end of the car, ya it was the transmission. I have a rental until the end of the week, they gave me a minivan great....

Winter wonder land

I had a great dinner last night at my fav. place. www.theinnatstarlightlake.com. Its so relaxing, everyone knows us and we its nice to just relax after a long day.. We are headed there for new years which they are promoting 100 years that the inn has been open.. We will be featured on the website when they kick off the new year.

We are off to Blazes xmas party tonight, I get to meet all the people that he works with. I went to the mall yesterday and braved the traffic to get a new outfit. Jcpenny got to love it. I got two pairs of pants and a sweater. All for 40 bucks.

I need to wax my eyebrows, and get my sasha fierce on for this party... ha gotta love christmas...

Xmas presents

I got a start on the xmas presents... I got isabella her gifts. Some wooden eggs and pots for the play kitchen that she is getting from santa. I also got her little bottles for her baby and a little backpack with things for her dolls. A really cute shirt, i love kmart. Got it all for under $35 dollars.

As for everyone else didn't do a single thing yet.. All the surrounding schools are closed today and I assume that they will be closed tommorow we are supposed to get 4-8 inches and ice, rain, and snow. I am stuck here. I do have alot of computer work to get done and i have about 10 loads of laundry to get started with. Should last me the whole day. Now tommorow on the other hand not so sure. I wanted to get paint to do my master bedroom, but didn't get the paint yesterday. Should have.

I am thinking about a vacation. We didn't take one this past summer. We didn't go anywhere but to baltimore for two days and well it had to do with my husbands work. I am hoping that the house sells by the summer. If so we are thinking about another National Park, maybe Yosemite, wanted to do alaksa but the more i looked into it its really expensive and out of the budget for this year. Yosemite, I think that we can do a great vacation for 10 days for 3,500 total. We did yellowstone for 10 days and it costs us 3,500 total. It was a great time. I will tell you what I find..

xmas

I haven't done anything for xmas yet, except get a tree. Usually by this time the outside is decorated, i have some xmas presents bought, and the outside lights done. Oh no not this year. I need to get myself together and into the holiday spirit.

Last weekend flew by I didn't get anything done. I had a xmas party on sat which took up the whole day and on sun i had to work. Not much of a weekend. This comming weekend sat we have a xmas party, but on sunday I am going to get the lights outside and hopefully the xmas cards out...

I am thinking of shopping online this year. I am going to be like most americans this year cutting back on the amount of gifts. I am thinking that I might do some baking and get some wine small gifts.

Pilates

I took my first Pilates class last night. It was awesome. I really like the teacher and its amazing the workout that you get(with your socks on). Although, I am feeling it this morning. I am glad that I went and can't wait until next tues. I signed up for the beginner series, which is 4 classes. It is at the himalayan institute on main street. Awesome place downstairs is like starbucks, with books and different things to buy. Upstairs is where the class is, its relaxing to do the class in the dark with music. Love it love it love it. I went by my self and really enjoyed it. Can't wait until next week....The class also came with a book The Pilates Body by Brooke Siler. I have to read up...

Thanksgiving...

I can't believe that its Thanksgiving already...I am ready for some pumkin pie and a little turkey.

King Bedroom set

I put our bedroom set on creigslist last night and got an email about it today. The crazy thing is the man that replied lives by us and B- knows him. crazy....

I hope that he buys it, I really would like to move the bed that I have in my master to one of the spare rooms so I can get a new master bed. I have one picked out.

I also hate the color of my master bedroom and need to paint it asap... I just have no idea what color yet. I am thinking a really faint grayish color, but i am changing my mind everyday about it...

I finally put a picture up in the dinning room, i got it at home goods. Clearance 15 bucks... as you can see above... I saw a mirror that I wanted to get to put on the opposite wall but I didn't measure it so when i was at the store i wasn't sure if it would fit ect so i didn't get it. I am also still on the hunt for a dinning room hutch. I am having no luck in that dept its either too cheap or too expensive.

Voting.................................

I voted on tuesday. My polling place usually gets about 250 people yes thats 250 people and when I get there to vote they were at 477. Amazing... it was amazing how many people turned out to vote, no matter who they voted for just people getting out to vote was great to see.

I am proud of our new president and can't wait to see what the furture holds. I hoping the economy gets better

Finishing touches

We are putting out the forsale sign today.....

We got a second dumpster and filled it too.

This weekend we need to:

Finish the touch up
cauck all the mouldings
paint the downstairs tub
cut the grass
put the last coat of paint on the front porch floor
get a kitchen light

the oil company: i need to go and schedule a cleaning for the house so it will be ready for heat its getting cold here

we also need to take the old iron railings to a place that will give you money based on weight... I am hoping we get at least 100 bucks, we are going to do this on sat morning..

After this weekend we will be all done now we just need a buyer..

next post i will post all the before and after pictures and talk about what i have up my sleeve to sell the house.

I am going to be glad not to have to go to the house everynight, but then again i am traveling all next week so i won't get a break until next sun..

Dumpster

WOW!!!!!! we filled the first dumpster last night, we have to get another one. I can't believe that we had that much stuff come out of the house.

On another note we got the road paved in front of the house and looks great.....Hopefully it will help sell the house.

We have a few odds and ends to get done, but once we get the 2nd dumpster and clean up all the junk i am going to put the 4sale signs out. Should be up by friday.

Still need to get a kitchen light....

Life on the hill

Life on the hill has been crazy lately. I promise to update pictures soon. It has been beyond crazy in my life in the past three weeks.

Update on the progress we wanted to be done by the first which has come and gone.

We are really close we actually think we might be finished this weekend. If not this weekend def. by the end of the week. It looks great I can't wait to take pictures and post them Its crazy. Now if the market would get better...... At least we will be finished and get somewhat of a life back.

Work Week

It has been a long week to say the least. We got lots done. The kitchen is installed, drywall done, house painted, upstairs bathroom is done and all the interior doors are hung. Basement is painted.

We have a list of things left to do but i think that we are still going to make the oct 1st deadline of getting the house complete.

I wanted to take pictures of the house yesterday but forgot my camera.

We are very busy, I sold a house yesterday and have to get all the paperwork done they want to close in 5 days, it really makes my job harder to do that and also next sun i have a sales meeting for a few days in state college. crazy i hope my life slows down a little in the next month or so. I was thinking yesterday how i love sundays in the fall/winter when i can just sit on the couch and listen to football on the tv reading a book and take a nap.I can't wait until we can get back to that.Soon i hope.


Well i am off today back to work i have to get catalogs to a school that is 2 hr away and then be back by 3 to take tonkia to the vet for 4.

Paint

We are ready for paint tommorow, and I haven't picked out all the colors yet, but will before I got to the store tommorow to get it. I am kind of going back and forth about a few colors.


The oil guy came and we got 75 gallons of oil for the flip today. They also came and started the furnace. It works great. they are going to come back in the next week or so to give it a good cleaning and replace nozzles and things.....


We are getting all of the rest of our supplies delivered on friday. We should be ready by then to install the kitchen.

Got the tile from HD on sat night. Blaze is going to install the tile while i paint tommorow. Its starting to go fast now.We should be def. done by Oct1st. Not worried about that anymore.

The oil man came walked through the house and asked us how much we were going to sell it for he thought we should sell it for more, so did blazes mom when she came over this past weekend.

We had a visit from Heidi and Belle this weekend. Although we were working on the house and didn't get to see them much, we plan to visit once we get this house done. We have a lot on our plate right now. More about that in an upcoming post.


I better get back to the flip,I just came out to let the dogs out and sat down at the computer...

WHAT

We finished hanging the drywall last night.. Its all ready for tape and spackle tonight.

Last night we were leaving the house and its so nice to see it all coming together, its actually starting to look nice. Its starting to look like we are getting somewhere.

I had to drop off the dogs this morning to get their teeth cleaned, not fun. They will be done by 5 tonight. Big process....

New Look

I thought that I should give the blog a new look. The black was starting to hurt my eyes. The new look is cleaner and happier....I like it...

oooooooooo

We are almost drywalled out. I don't want to see another piece of drywall for a while. We have a little bit left going down to the basement and its all hung. Blaze did a great job with it and now its on to the messy part on thursday night. We have all of next week off to work on the house. We hope to get all the drywall done and painted, and the tile finished in the kitchen and two bathrooms. ALso get both bathrooms totally finished with hooking up vanity's and toliets. Also get the doors hung. Its alot to get done but hopefully we can do it. We will be working our butts off to get it done. I like this part of the flip things go faster and you actually see progress, in our case we get more done.

I still have to pick out paint colors and I have a Home Depot list that has to get bought.

The gutter guy for the house in plmt still didn't call about a install day. I hate contractors to say the least...

Work on the house week

We are going to work on the house the week of the 15th. We both took a week off from work. We should be able to get lots done. Sucks that we had to use vacation but the list left is long and we just need to get it all done.

Also called KW oil, they are coming to clean and service the furance next week along with checking all of the radiators.

The drywall is going good we will be done with it by the end of the weekend. I need to start to pick out all the colors for all the rooms. I just have one so far sea salt for the living room. I have a lot to pick out for that. At least the color for the floors are done along with the pick for the doors and trim, kitchen ordered, all the bathroom stuff bought, lights bought, except for the kitchen light. Have to go to HD and get the appliances and tile after we paint the drywall.

Met with the gutter guy last night at our house in plmt. They are going to do our house in plmt sometime next week. We really need gutters.

I have to take people out house shopping on sat, so I won't be able to do much, we have 8 houses to look at and it is going to take up most of the day. I hope that they find something this weekend.

Hopefully next post I will be talking about the colors that I am going to paint each room....

LONG LABOR DAY WEEKEND

Long weekend to say the least. Starting with the good news we worked our butts off and managed to get the whole upstairs done and most of the downstairs drywalled.

We have the downstairs bathroom to drywall, staircase, and backroom downstairs. Oh we have the little bit going down to the basement left too.

In other news I had a really bad weekend with real estate, had a client who we had an offer to purchase signed by both parties and then someone else came in at the last moment and well its a long story but they said they are sueing the other party and everyone down the east coast. I have to deal with this this morning and am not happy about it. It just really sucks.

other than that all week we are doing drywall hopefully by the end of the weekend we will be ready for tape and spackle. Sunday we are only working in the morning, first weekend of football. GO STEELERS

I made a list of the stuff we have left I will post that next time also I took pictures this weekend, maybe I will do it later when i get off the phone with the lawyer....

LIFT SAVER, 25 days left

The sheetrock lift is a life saver to say the least. Last night we got the first sheets on the ceiling in no time and perfect. It was totally worth the money to invest in oh and my husband thinks that we are bringing it back on friday night. I guess we might have it done by then, we are taking off on friday, so its going to be a long day to say the least.

I need to call to schedule an appt to get the heating system serviced and started up. Cross your fingers..... it works.

I love when you get to the point of drywall and the project that has taken so long actually starts to look good.

Sheet Rock

We are having the sheetrock delivered tommorow... its exciting, we also have some family who are going to come over and help us bring it all in each of the rooms.

We had a big weekend of parties, on friday night we went to the fair, on sat we had Bell's first birthday we didn't get home until 12:30 pm LONG DAY

Sunday we had a retirement party for blazes aunt shirley. I am all partied out.

We are thinking about taking off friday since we have Monday allready off, hopefully if thats the case we will get all the sheetrock at least up.

Thurday - bedroom
friday- hallway
Sat- bedroom, kitchen, bath
Sun- living
monday- odds and ends finish sheetrock if not all up, maybe start spackle if ready.

SO that is the schedule for the week. I hope that we can stick to it. After monday we have 21 days left we should be able to get it all done

Tonight we have to measure the kitchen and I need to do the final picking out of the cabinets, sink, countertops. Kitchen takes two weeks when ordered. But we will need that time to tile all the bathrooms and tile the kitchen. Put the new floor down in the back bedroom and paint the whole house. That reminds me I need to call the heating man, we still don't know if that works....

Lots left... I also have two pallets go catalogs coming next week, have a deal going with a house that is a nightmare, I can't wait until the sold sign is on this house. Hopefully sooner than later....I think that I am going crazy, you know that when you have a milllion things to write on the to do list for the day

Plumbing

Sounds like I am always talking about the dam plumbing but... big news its done...... yes its done and we didn't have to call a plumber.... I have to give all the credit to my husband who is awesome...Lets hope the same is for the heating system when we turn that on.... oh and also that the sewage line is ok...


On my way over to Home Depot to get a drain for the upstairs shower and get some plants for the outside landscaping. I mowed the lawn tonight and it looks great....

Next on the list getting the drywall delivered and started on that, not a big fan of that job but its better than demo...


On the real estate market sold a big house and have an appt with people tommorow who i have been working with for about a month. I think that this one tommorow is the one. Lets hope I would be two for two this week. I am not celebrating yet......

Its pretty bad when i was driving home today i was thinking about laying out on a beach with a drink not doing a dam thing and then I pulled up to the dump aka flip and my dream was over and I had to start working uhhhh i can't wait until its done.....

Plumbing

Plumbing is going good we should be finished by the end of the week. thank gosh....

Now if everything is good with the sewage line and the heating system we are good to go.

We are thinking that we might take a week of work off to do the drywall and flooring to get a heads up on getting the house done. its the last bit of vacation time that we have left.

We keep going back and forth about it.

Update house up the street was on the market for two weeks at 140k and sold.... maybe that fwould happen for us at 115k.....................and ours is all updated and the other one wasn't...

The past week

The past week has been crazy busy, not with the house flip but with a bunch of other things. last weekend we went to Baltimore and on Sat night we met Sarah and Brian for dinner. It was a good time wish they lived closer.

This weekend we had a lot of family come in for Billy and Elissa's wedding. It ended up turning out very nice and everyone had a good time. Elissa looked beautiful and I survived my speech.

I got to see Kendra and Heidi. We sat at the same table it was nice.Kendra's husband couldn't make it and Heidi's husband was home watching Bell. Blaze was at the head table so it was us girls talking all night. Fun times... We took friday and sat off from the house so we spent it with Bell,Heidi and Andy. It was fun. I can't believe that she is going to be a year next week. Kendra's baby Alexis is getting huge. She is really cute. My sister Melissa watched her while we went to the weddding.

Next weekend.... BIG 1St Birthday for BELL... I have already spent way too much.....

Oh update on the house Blaze almost has the plubming done we should be ready for sheetrock by the end of the week. ALthough next sat we have the BIG 1st birthday party and on sun we have another party. But its getting there....

ALso sold property today a big one...........................................................awesome................................

Plumbing

The plumbing is going good. We had really bad issues when the water was turned on so now we are replacing all of the plumbing pipes. Well I guess now I can write all new plumbing.... I guess its a plus. Not a huge cost just labor intensive. Now I am hoping that once we get the plumbing in and try out the heating system it os all good.

We are going to take a few days off once we are ready for drywall. Tonight we have a rehersal for a wedding tommorow.. busy busy busy. sat & sun finish plumbing and finish painting basement.

Can't wait until dryall is over, I like the finishing work, painting, trim, sanding, kitchen, tile work, bathroom setup. That's about it. Sept 22nd can't come fast enough....

Busy

I haven't posted in a while. We are very busy this week. I can't even put my head around it. I have to train someone new at work for the day tommorow i have to show houses on thursday, We have rehersal for a wedding on thursday night, I have a hair appt friday along with a wedding. I also have to read at the wedding. I also at some point have to find something to wear to the wedding and get the dress for one of the bridesmaids that my mom is fixing. I have to get to the grocery store we have nothing. Amoung more things that I just don't have time to write.

Oh and last week we found out that we need to put ALL new plumbing in the flip house. Great. Blaze is working on that. Its going good so far last night he got far. He is telling me that he will be finished with the plumbing by the end of the weekend. Hopefully once we get the plumbing straight everything is ok with the sewage. If not we are going to have to dig it up. I won't get into that story until it happens or doesn't happpen.

I am painting the basement. Last night i went through a whole can of white paint. Blaze is getting me more tonight. It looks better how good can a basement from the 1920's really look. Its brighter and cleaner.

Our deadline to finish the flip is Monday Sept.22nd

Home Depot

We went to Home Depot this morning and got supplies for both bathrooms. I got a nice black vanity for the downstairs bath, the upstairs bath I got a white vanity and medicine cabinet. Got all of the lights for the house except the kitchen light. I am looking for one online.

We have to go back to Home Depot to get the tile, microwave, and dishwasher. I am going to get all black appliances. The house came with a frig, I am going to paint that black.

We are going away this week so the next three days we are going to work hard. Blaze calculated that we have approx 93 hours of work left to do. Ouch....


I found the next flip..... Blaze is not happy about it. Its a really cute house foreclosure in vandling. Not on the market yet, I don't even know whats its going to go for. we need to get this one sold first.

garage done

The garage is done. The outside is also done except for a few little things. We need to trim the bushes again as you can see by the garage door. We are now working on the inside and hopefully we will have another bathroom in the next two weeks. Goal to be on market.. 8 weeks

Isabella

We had a nice weekend with Isabella visiting us. She is getting so big. I can't believe that she is turning one in August. She is just too cute, bold at times but cute...

TWINS

Sandy and Joe had TWINS. Abby and Jackob. Congrad to them they have waited a long time for this.....................

They are just tooo cute..... I can't wait to meet them.

scary

The outside is starting to look great.The inside is looking a little scary. We still have lots of work to do on the inside but I remind myself that one month and four days ago the house was green and dirty....We are making progress. Monday and last night we got a total of 6 new windows in the house. We only have 4 left plus the outside trim around them. I am very happy with the new windows they make the house look great.

The stairs look scary but they will look great when we get them sanded down. As you can see in that picture there are drop ceilings in both bedrooms upstairs. That's not the big change upstairs we are adding a bathroom that now is presently a closet. ummm

Pictures

I love target.... I got this rocker for 32.00 the loveseat I got for 74.00 and the coffee table I got for 34.00. I also got a gathering height table the same as the coffee table but I didn't get it put together yet. It is too big for me to do on my own. I am going to put the big table in between the rocker and the loveseat. I just need to find four chairs now.

Next year I need to work on the other side of the deck becasue that side is bare as you can see in the picture, but we also want to put a roof on that side which I can't wait for....

My flower garden is really growing, I was lazy and didn't want to get my feet wet so I took a side picture... The kitchen I am still going back and forth on do I want a black table in the kitchen area to match the island or do I want a wood color table.... ummmm

Busy as a Bee

I haven't had a post in a while. Update the house is coming along. Blaze has done a great job of painting the front porch and the new vinyl railing looks awesome.

I cut the grass last night and Blaze put steel roofing on the garage.

Windows come on friday.... I am excited...

We are looking to start the inside by 8/1. I hope we can stick to that plan.

I will update the outside picture in the next two weeks or so. Once my outside list is all checked off....

The pig roast was great. We had a beautiful day. One of the best parties that we have had. Now its back to the grind. We are hoping that we can start on the inside of the house by July 28th.

The vinyl railing looks great. With the party planning for the past week we have been slacking big time. We need to get our butt in gear, but there is always time for fireworks tonight..... and maybe pizza tooo

Flipping out

I am kind of flipping out becasue we have the pig roast on sat and I still have tons to do. I guess I will eventually get it all done. Just a little overwhelmed with it all.

We started to put the vinyl railing on the porch last night and it looks great. I am really happy with it.

I got a mirror for the flip at tjmax. Its black, distressed and big, great for the downstairs bathroom at the flip and it was 50 bucks. awesome.

We might have someone interested in buying the place already OMG we will have to keep our fingers posted on that one.

Was hoping to get this all done outside before we get our first payment from the bank. Which is in 16 days. We should be able to get it all done on the list except for the windows they aren't coming until the 16th and the landscaping, I haven't even thought about that yet. I always have a list. Now if I could only be the guys on the tv show that has the list and tells people to do the work instead of me doing the work on the list.uhhhh

PIG ROAST

I guess I really didn't get into detail in my last post about the party that I was having this week. Sorry.... I forgot to tell you sarah, if you are up it will be a fun time...

We are having a pig roast and well the list of invites keeps growing and growing thanks to Blaze. I feel like I have a million things to do and not enough time to get it all done.

I am hoping that it doesn't rain....

On another note if we get the house finished by aug we figured out our vacation spot.Kennebunport, Maine.

I am finally getting my hair cut and colored today. I am looking forward to it.

We finished painting the blue on the house. It looks really nice although the house now stands out in the neighborhood. GREAT....

I will post a picture this weekend of the railing and the finished painted house. We still have to put siding and a new roof on the garage.

I have to put some more weed killer on the grass, it is still a mess. I also eventually need to do some landscaping.

New windows are not coming until July 25th. ewwww

Its taking more time than I thought to get the painting done. The outside looks great. Can't wait to post a picture of it. Ordered the new railing, we should have that up by the end of the weekend. We have a busy week ahead...

painting

I have been painting all week, blaze is going to help me this weekend. Our goal is to get all the outside painting and accessories done this weekend except for the new vinyl railing.

Making the windows upstairs bigger, over budget on the windows by $600. Windows won't be in for 4 more weeks.

Good news, I have only used one gallon of paint, We will only need 3 gallons total.(Allumium paint goes a long way). We will be under budget on paint by $500 so I think we are still good on the $$$ end.

Got new numbers for the house, the numbers that I posted in a previous post I am going to take back to HD.(Home Depot) Money saved by doing that $20

We started demo on the inside,well blaze has. That in itself takes a while,especially when you are gutting the whole house.
