I got an update that the closing should happen sometime next week. Now I just need to get everything I have been putting off together.

turning the water on
turning the electric on

next week should be fun, I am also traveling for work Sun, Mon, and Tues....busy week

Closing ,Please

I haven't posted anything for a week, figured I should keep this updated. Nothing really new to report. We still didn't have the closing we have 6 business days to close and well I hope it happens becasue if it doesn't we have to pay $100 a day until we close on it if we go past the due date. I should really be on it being the real estate agent and all....

I went for a walk with my sister last night and the grass is really growing in the yard and we need to get it cut, everything is overgrown huge...We have a lot of work ahead of us.

The doors for the house came in and are beautiful, now if we can get the keys to the house and start working on it...I have ants in my pants

Numbers, Numbers, Numbers

I went to Home Depot and bought the numbers for the house. They were $5.99 each. (Had to get three). We picked out the mailbox, outside lights, and doorknobs for the two outside doors.

We are hoping that the house closing will happen next week at some point. I am hoping by friday. At that point I will post the outside and inside before pictures.

We also bought some grass seed, and some supplies to make the grass look greener. We need to get a yard trimmer because everything in the yard is overgrown I am asking around to family/friends to find out if i can borrow one instead of having to buy one.

My friend emailed me, she and her husband want to buy some land. I am also a real estate agent part-time. I hope that they find something.... exciting...

Sarah the desk picture is for you....This desk I bought at Walmart, the desk and two side tables were less than $250, this is my office I am still working on getting it all organized.(this is at my house).Once I get it all done I will post the picture.

I am looking forward to it getting warmer out. I will be sweating away painting this summer. One of my jobs on the flip is to paint the outside of the house. lets hope my pasty white legs get some sun....they could really use it. -L

Just Bitten

So I don't think that my husband thinks before he buys. Well, I guess sometimes when I go into a store I don't look at the price tag if I really want a purse, shoes, ect. Anyway, yesterday we needed to order the doors for the house flip and my husband orders a deadbolt for the garage, which was about an extra $50, we don't even have that on our own house garage. So I made him call and change it every penny counts, especially when we needed to buy two expensive doors for the main house to add an extra wow factor. Men...., but I have to give him credit he has it all planned out how many days its going to take to flip, ( we also both have full time jobs) so he thinks it going to take 60 days, so our goal is to have it on the market by aug 1st.

I also picked out the colors for the house we are re painting it. The colors are Waterbug for the house and Sargasso Sea for the two doors. Both are a blue color, going to look really nice. I am going to post a before picture of the outside soon, i just need to get my camera to the house and take the picture.

SO I am also doing WW, so from time to time I will be talking about that. I am doing good so far. I walked 1.5 miles yesterday which is good, I just need to keep doing it everyday. Points yesterday I kept in my range, although I didn't drink enough water and well i need to work on that.

I am also working on making this blog a little nicer, with pictures banner ect. The girl that I want to use has a waiting list until June 12th. So I am guessing that I will have to stick to the current layout until then.

FIRST BLOG

So this is my first blog article..... I started looking at Blogs ect. last aug when someone sent me a blog.. www.thelifeofsuz.blogspot.com awesome blog, WOW, I got addicted to it and just love reading her blog everyday.My friend Sarah also started a blog, amessagefromthepeanutgallery.blogspot.com, I am so addicted to looking at them everyday so I started one myself.

My husband and I just bought a house to flip so I thought it would be nice to start a blog about the house flip. Lots more about that later... Also pictures to come in upcoming posts.
