Doors

Last night we got both doors finished. The first door is in the kitchen, the second is in the living room. Once we rip the wall out it is all going to be one room.I started to rip out the carpet in the living room, it smelled.

This is a quote from Rev Run. I really like. it is so true..... You need to create happiness in your life.Some people never find happiness in their life, its like they float by thinking that they are happy and some things make them happy for a short period of time but never find the true meaning of happiness.

Flips

I just watched flip this house and it started to make me think. How nice would it be if I was able to just pick out everything for a flip, hire someone and watch the work completed everyday.

I guess a need to snap out of my dream.....

on another note we were working on the flip today and one of the neighbors came out and gave us ice cold water. How nice.....( water is not turned on yet) Sweat was poring down my face. We cleaned up the yard today. cut all the hedges, it looks totally different now. Tommorow morning we are going to put chemicals on the yard to make the yard look nice and green.

Monday night we are going to put in two exterior doors after work. Wishful thinking most likely will just get one in.

Pictures

Finally, I got some pictures.... You can see in the picture above, I put a stripe of blue, that is the color that we are going to paint the house. Also all of the windows are going to be replaced, the new ones will have grills in them and also wide white trim around them. Also replacing all the railing with new vinyl railing. Everything is really overgrown. I called to get the electric turned on and they told me that it hasn't been in service for over a year. The yard is big for being in town. The two front doors we got are full length stain glass REALLY NICE. The first picture looks really white on the bottom of the railing thats becasue i painted it. it was really ugly before, I just forgot to bring my camera.

new neighbors

working on the house tonight, the next doors neighbor comes out. We start to talk and my husband says to BOB is the junk in the middle of our two houses ours. BOB replys no thats my once a year birthday party chairs and table. I thought I was going to kill Blaze. What an idiot. So meeting the new neighbor didn't go well, after that BOB was using sissors to cut his lawn. He is a bit of a character.

We also met another neighbor down the street. She came over and was very happy that we bought the place. I think people are just happy we are cleaning the place up...

Tonka

I thought Tonka needed his own post. He wouldn't pose last night, he also hates the hot weather and the camera. Sally on the other hand loves the attention....

They are happy today in the basement where it is cool.

Tonka also thinks that the new lawn mower is a game, its too funny.

lawn work

B- is really trying to get the yard looking good. It was really hot last night, I was installing my new solar lights in the front yard. I will have to take a picture of them tonight. They look great and I did it myself. awesome...
